Donation Tax Benefits
Your donations to Street to Home qualify for a tax credit in your year-end tax settlement.
Our Status as a Designated Donation Organization
Street to Home (Public Interest Corporation) is a designated donation organization (public interest corporation) under Korea's Corporate Tax Act and Income Tax Act, and issues donation receipts for the gifts we receive. Individual donors can claim a tax credit for donations in their year-end tax settlement or global income tax return, and corporate donors can deduct donations as business expenses. Credit rates and limits follow the relevant tax laws; please check the National Tax Service (NTS) guidance for details.
Donation Receipts
- If you provide your Resident Registration Number (or Business Registration Number for corporations) when donating, we submit your records so your donations appear automatically in the NTS simplified year-end tax settlement service.
- If your donation doesn't appear in the simplified service, or you need a paper receipt, please complete the form below. Our team will verify it and issue a receipt.
- If the depositor name differs from the donor's name, we may not be able to confirm your gift. Please be sure to include the depositor name on the form.
Transparent Disclosure
After each fiscal year, Street to Home publishes its “Annual Statement of Donations Raised and Used” in the Public Disclosures section of our website and on NTS Hometax, so you can always see where and how your donations were used.
Protecting Your Personal Information
Resident Registration Numbers are collected only to issue donation receipts and submit data to the NTS under the Enforcement Decree of the Income Tax Act. They are stored encrypted and destroyed once the legally required retention period (5 years) has passed.
